Raglan Food Co Turns 7

0

Raglan Food Co celebrates their 7th year in business this December, and what a year it’s been! Not only have they become the first Certified B Corporation in Raglan, but it’s also been a full year in their new, custom-built factory – only a three minute drive from town in the Nau Mai Business Park.

With so much more space and equipment, they’ve been running popular tours for fans wanting a look behind the scenes, and have also been busy creating & launching multiple new ranges.

Well-known for their coconut yoghurt, Raglan Food Co ventured into new territory in February 2021, with the launch of their kefir smoothies.

A delicious probiotic drink available in four different flavours, and all with added vitamin C to help boost immunity.

They soon proved popular, with the natural variety taking out the ‘Drink Champion Award’ in the 2021 Outstanding Food Producer Awards, and the other flavours winning silver and gold medals!

They’ve also ventured beyond coconut-based products for the first time ever, and made it onto the condiment shelf in October with their latest creations; Vegan Mayo & Vegan Aioli. Continuing with the ethos of using premium quality ingredients, they believe they’ve made the best tasting Vegan Mayo & Aioli you can find, created without any preservatives or numbers, and 100% egg-free.

Having safely maneuvered through another year of Covid-19, the Raglan Food Co team have been working hard to keep up with demand and to focus on bringing more plant-based options to New Zealand and abroad. You’ll find their products in over 750 stores worldwide, having recently launched in Shanghai, some of the Pacific Islands and the United Arab Emirates this year, in addition to existing stockists in Hong Kong and Singapore.

With the business is getting busier each year, it’s been even more important to keep focusing on the wellbeing of their team, community, and the environment. Raglan Food Co continues to support local charities & fundraisers, and has given out $5,000 in local community grants this year. They’ve also maintained their Carbon Zero Certified status for the third year running. Having collected over 650,000 pieces of plastic from beaches around the country, they’re getting closer and closer to their One Million Pieces goal, while rewarding individuals and schools with free products for their efforts!

Co-founders Seb & Tesh know that the business wouldn’t be where it is today without the support of their fans and stockists. In 2022 you’ll see Raglan Food Co continue with their goal of accelerating the shift to a plant-based diet, creating delicious plant-based alternatives for you to enjoy along the way!
