A Hamilton tech firm carried the flag for Waikato exporters at the Air New Zealand Cargo ExportNZ Awards, announced in May.
Company-X was the only Waikato firm named as a finalist, and won the nod in the Best Medium Business for Services category.
Companies from Northland, Auckland and Waikato entered the 10th annual awards, which celebrate global success locally.
It marks an impressive three years in a row for Company-X, which won the Services Exporter of the Year (export revenue $1million-$10million) category in 2017 and was a finalist in Best Medium Business (services exporter) last year.
Company-X director David Hallett is on the CultivateIT board.
