CooperAitken are well-established Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors, proudly serving the Waikato region for over a century. With a team of more than 70 professionals, 12 partners, and four offices across the region, the firm brings together a wealth of knowledge, diverse backgrounds, and deep expertise across both the commercial and agri sectors. Alongside this technical capability sits a long-standing commitment to supporting the communities in which it operates.
While CooperAitken has strong roots in the rural sector, its focus on the commercial landscape continues to grow. The firm’s presence at Innovation Park in Hamilton, where it has been established since 2021, reflects this strategic direction, placing the team closer to a thriving business hub and enabling greater collaboration with both new and existing clients, as well as other professionals in the area. With an established and growing team in Hamilton, CooperAitken is well positioned to continue expanding its reach across the region.

Complementing this growth, CooperAitken has recently completed significant renovations to its purpose-built Morrinsville office on Moorhouse Street. The refurbishment reflects the firm’s commitment to providing a modern, welcoming, and functional environment for both clients and team members.
The upgrades have transformed the space into a clean, bright, and contemporary office. A refreshed neutral colour palette replaces the previous design, while a reconfigured layout brings the Morrinsville team together under one roof for the first time in many years – supporting stronger collaboration and a more connected workplace. Working with local contractors and suppliers throughout the process, reinforcing their commitment to supporting the local community.
The front of the office now features a spacious, welcoming reception area and a range of spaces to suit different client needs, including shared offices, meeting rooms, and a boardroom available to external organisations.
In line with the firm’s values, meeting rooms have been thoughtfully named after native New Zealand trees; Kahikatea, Kōwhai, Mānuka, Nīkau, Pōhutukawa, Rātā, Rimu, Tōtara, and the Kauri Boardroom. Reflecting growth, resilience, and connection to place, qualities that align closely with both the firm and the region it serves.
The renovation also includes sustainability improvements such as solar panels, alongside a modern staffroom that can open into the boardroom for flexible use, upgraded amenities, an open-plan working area designed to encourage collaboration, and improved technology for more seamless client interactions.
To celebrate the completion of the renovations, CooperAitken recently hosted a grand opening event, welcoming around 70 professional peers and connections to experience the refreshed space over a light breakfast.
These upgrades represent an important step in CooperAitken’s broader growth strategy. Together with its Hamilton presence and other Waikato offices, the Morrinsville refurbishment strengthens the firm’s ability to support clients now and into the future – providing modern spaces, enhanced capability, and a continued commitment to the region.
CooperAitken’s focus is firmly on growth and the future, and the firm is committed to achieving the same for its clients. Get in touch if you’re looking to get the right support behind you.
