Weave Eatery provides hub of fine food and coffee at SkyPoint

0

Weave Eatery is the latest project by award-winning operators Lisa and Brent Quarrie, of Hayes Common at Waikato Innovation Park’s new building SkyPoint.

With a focus on fresh, seasonal food, Fair Trade coffee and local suppliers, the cafe holds strong to the values the dynamic food duo have become known for.

Designed in collaboration with Designwell and Area Design, the eatery fitout and branding make reference to its location at the centre of the new building at the park and provides ‘‘the common connecting point; a place where people and businesses can come together to share ideas, connect and mingle.”

The beautiful new eatery celebrates texture with pops of colour, a range of seating options for the different ways people meet – banquette seating, high tables, a dining table and perching spots for takeaway coffees, providing a lovely calm space to enjoy while deciding what to order from the daily cabinet of fresh bakes.

If you’ve got time to linger, you can choose from a seasonally inspired all day menu. Start your day with Winter Oats topped with poached pear, roasted rhubarb, brown sugar crumb, pistachio, or indulge in Eggs Benny taken to the next level with smoked ham hock, cheddar, mustard croquette, poached eggs, hollandaise, house made corn salsa. For lunch the options continue on the menu Salmon & Spuds – crispy potatoes, Weave smoked salmon, poached eggs, green goddess, pickled red onions furikake or try their award-winning Melt Challenge toastie – Chipotle braised pork, smokey cheddar jalapeno cream, Clevedon Oaxaca stringy cheese, corn & lime salsa on Volare turmeric sourdough.

There’s also a cabinet which changes daily, with everything made onsite by the talented team in the kitchen headed by Ashley Brodie – well known for her fresh, beautifully presented food.

The team at Weave will also bring their flair for fabulous food to provide catering for events of all sizes. And at the helm of events and operations, Sam Immers brings years of experience in the catering and event industry, and knows how to throw a great party!
