McCaw Lewis Lawyers announce that the board has appointed Glenn Forster as the firm’s first Chief Executive, a move that marks an evolution of his role and another exciting development for the Waikato law firm.

Glenn has been part of the McCaw Lewis team since 2019 when he started as General Manager. The appointment as Chief Executive is a significant role and one which reflects Glenn’s contribution to the firm’s vision, strategic objectives and overall management.

Executive Director, Renika Siciliano, says “Glenn’s strength is in his genuine desire to see every individual succeed and thrive. He embodies our firm value of manaakitanga – uplifting the mana of others in all his actions. Combine those traits with his excellent business insights and skills, and our firm is in great hands going forward.”

Glenn has managed the firm during the most unusual of times through the COVID pandemic, as well as the retirements and departures of a number of very senior Directors and other staff. He has been instrumental in helping drive a values-based culture through all aspects of the firm.

His business knowledge and financial skills have been an excellent support to the Director group, but importantly, those skills sit alongside a focus on our people and ultimately doing what is right. It is this balance of skillsets that drives his strategic vision for the firm as he continues his excellent work alongside the Directors and supporting the wider firm in this new Chief Executive role.

Founded in 1919, McCaw Lewis has grown to become one of the Waikato’s leading law firms, specialising in commercial, Te Tiriti o Waitangi, property, dispute resolution, asset planning, environmental/natural resources, workplace law and te ture whenua Māori (Māori land law).
