WCML works construction magic for new build

0

Waikato Construction Management Limited (WCML) is fast making a name for designer building options in the greater Waikato Region.

A new commercial build near Hamilton Airport is a dream come true for owner Ravi Singh and the space has transformed the work environment for his thriving accountancy business Singh and Associates.

Combining beauty, durability and flexibility, this build is a stylish and functional office space for Ravi’s and his team.

When time, budget and quality matter, WCML have a proven record of success, combining conventional building methods and material alongside new innovation building systems.

Despite the Covid lockdowns, WCML bought the build in on budget and on time.

Technology has always been a key part of construction process and using Coresteel’s cost-effective bolted quality steel coldform structure, there is no welding or drilling onsite with everything predrilled in the factory for quicker construction times.

Built in just over five months, the 600sqm 4-unit development came together quickly.  Featuring two workshop units and two office units, the turnkey development includes the concrete carpark, entrance and landscaping.

WCML has completed 12 buildings in the last two years at the Hamilton Airports industrial parks with five builds yet to come.

Specialising in design and build projects WCML have undertaken a large range of commercial, industrial, educational and residential building projects for clients and community-based organisations.

Originally formed in 2008 under the name The Barn Company Waikato by husband-and-wife Gary and Trina White, WCML also bought the rights to Waikato region Coresteel at the same time.

In 2014, John Morrow joined Gary and Trina as a director and over the last 13 years the business has continued to grow and WCML now has a team of 40.

“We understand design and we pride ourselves on our customer service. Our goal is to add value at any and all stages of your project, from budgeting, unique design, cost effective engineering solutions, timely construction, and comprehensive project management,” Gary says.

With a WCML build, clients get the whole package; from concept design through to engineering, council consent and full turnkey construction, and utilising the quality Coresteel building structure in all their projects.

“We work in collaboration with architects when designing the structural elements of all our buildings, we have a team of structural engineers through the Coresteel network who work with architects to cost effectively optimise structural designs,” Trina says.

The WCML team worked closely with Ravi on the build, meeting regularly to discuss progress.

Utilising leading-edge software means the WCML team designed the Singh commercial building to Ravi’ specific needs – right down to the last square metre.

“We really enjoyed building a relationship with great clients along the way of building their new development,” Gary and Trina say.

With the client’s requirements always at the forefront of any build, WCML integrated Coresteel coldform steel building system, coloursteel and cedar cladding to wing walls to add design features to the building.

A one-stop-shop for the entire construction process, WCML removes the hassle of dealing with multiple companies and contractors.

The company’s expert design engineers use a unique construction method to create buildings of any size and shape, without compromising structural integrity.

Waikato Construction Management Limited own the rights to sell Coresteel structures throughout the greater Waikato Region.

Based in Te Awamutu, WCML is a proud local company that supports the local community.
