At the Latin America Centre of Asia-Pacific Excellence (LatAm CAPE), our objective is to prepare New Zealanders to engage with and do business with the countries of Latin America and to support and develop their knowledge and understanding of this region.
Over the last couple of years, the LatAm CAPE has offered a variety of one-day workshops to businesses where it introduces SMEs to the specifics of Latin America markets in accessible and original forms.
In the first half of 2022, we launched our Diversifying into Latin America (DILA) programme. The programme delivered a comprehensive set of modules over eight weeks on how to engage successfully with the region by offering the tools and strategies needed for business growth. We had expertise from LatAm CAPE, University of Auckland, and Massey University, and valuable input from guest speakers with in-market knowledge.

We are now taking registrations for another DILA programme to a new set of Kiwi businesses that want to succeed in Latin America.
Applications close on 4 September 2022. The course runs over eight weeks with two in-person sessions, and six online sessions. The cost is $250, includes programme materials, attendance at all sessions, flights, and accommodation for in-person sessions.
