Hamilton public relations agency HMC has engaged a new account manager – marketing communications lead, Rosie Harris, to join its account management team.
Harris has built experience over the past few years in the marketing and communications industry in Auckland, recently shifting to Waikato.
She was most recently employed at consumer marketing agency Commando Ltd, starting as an account executive and moving up to account manager level within two years.
In this role Harris worked across a range of marketing disciplines for mainly FMCG clients, including sales promotions, influencer and social media marketing, sampling, experiential activations and public relations (including new product PR and event PR).
She also recently completed postgraduate study, gaining first class Honours in Marketing Communication.
“I’m excited to join the award-winning HMC team and build on my existing PR expertise, while bringing to the table a base in marketing communications to assist their clients looking for consultation in this area,” said Harris.
“Being exposed to a range of different clients and industries (as HMC offers) was something I was looking for in a new role, and I’m already enjoying the HMC approach to their work.”
