Diprose Miller Chartered Accountants has appointed two new directors to its board. The Morrinsville and Te Aroha-based accounting and business advisory firm has announced Ed Wagstaff and Sharon Coombe will join the leadership team, effective immediately.

Chartered accountants Wagstaff and Coombe join existing directors Darren Diprose, Keith Miller and Jeanette Clubb in taking the established accounting and business advisory firm in a new strategic direction.

“We’re excited to have new blood coming through the firm,” says Miller.

“They’re highly talented people that do a good job and at the end of the day it’s about the service they have and will continue to exhibit.”

Wagstaff joined Diprose Miller in 2015 having previously worked at KPMG and Virbac-Stockguard. He said his move to Diprose Miller was out of a desire to help small businesses grow and owners achieve their goals.

“I’m thrilled to be appointed as a director of a company I am incredibly passionate about, and which has such a strong reputation in Waikato,” says Ed. “There is significant technological enhancement happening within the industry, such as cloud-based accounting, for business development, so this is an exciting time for the company.

Coombe, a Te Aroha local, has been with Diprose Miller since 2003. “As a director, I’m excited to enable the future of the firm with delivery of high-quality service and reputation,” she said.
