Cyber-crime event offered


Digital crime costs Kiwis $257 million a year, according to New Zealand’s Cyber Security Strategy 2016.  Cyber-crime is happening around us every day. Are you a protected player in the digital world?

Export New Zealand is holding an event in June to alert businesses to the real threats posed by cyber-crime; how you can secure your digital assets; and how to own and control your cyber intellectual property rights.

The event at 4pm on June 7 will provide digital security specialists who will explain the real risks in the way we conduct business today.

Head of commercial at Baldwins Sam Brogan, will cover how you can protect your business; and Phillip Quay, expert at saving a company’s brand when things go wrong in the digital marketing space will talk about crisis management in the new media world. Phillip will also talk about how to take a business global utilising the latest online techniques in content marketing and can bring more than 100,000 hits to your website in less than 24 hours.
